React Native Developer

We are an international digital studio that transforms ideas into incredible products. We are part of Tiny, a Canadian investment fund behind industry giants such as Dribbble or Metalab. We work with North American startups helping them create and launch disruptive products to the market.

Z1 is not a design agency with several engineers, nor a development consultant with a handful of designers. We are a team of more than 70 designers, engineers and communication professionals that approach each project holistically.

We always work as a team, both remotely (we have colleagues in New York, San Francisco, Vancouver, etc.) and in person at our main headquarters located in the center of Seville, a 700m2 space where you will feel at home.

A React Native developer or a passionate developer eager to dive into React Native.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Actively collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team dedicated to create innovative mobile apps, that includes professionals from various back-end and mobile technologies.
• Develop clean code with React Native and take the initiative to research, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues as they arise, ensuring a smooth user experience in our mobile apps.
• Take a proactive role in the development plan for multiple projects simultaneously, taking care and responsibility of schedule, communications, risk, deliverables and code quality.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude as an integral team player, adaptable to the varied demands of multiple projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, digital designers, and engineers, along with our clients, to innovate and develop new design and interaction concepts.
• Contribute to our know-how by documenting best practices and insights for front-end development using React Native.
• Support other team members through code reviews and continuous feedback.

Besides showing us your previous work, you’ll need:

• Spanish as your native language.
• A university degree or vocational training in software development or a related field.
• Some experience in building modern, elegant apps using React Native (or motivation to learn if you are a skilled React developer).
• Some experience with GraphQL and Apollo/Relay (or ambition to learn it)
• Skills with Javascript/TypeScript
• Understanding of RESTful services and service-oriented architecture
• Be passionate about User Experience
• A true team spirit, with the ability to wear multiple hats and support your colleagues when needed.
• Ability to work both self-directed and collaboratively to deliver results in a fast paced, startup environment
• Great learning capabilities.
• Positive attitude and high motivation.

It’s a great plus if you also have experience:

• With React or similar frameworks.
• Speaking properly in English.
• Working  from home effectively.
• Using Notion, Slack and Jira.

• Salary scale: The entry salary for this position is €20K-35K. We base fixed salaries on performance, responsibility and experience.
