We are an international digital studio that transforms ideas into incredible products. We are part of Tiny, a Canadian investment fund behind industry giants such as Dribbble or Metalab. We work with North American startups helping them create and launch disruptive products to the market.
Z1 is not a design agency with several engineers, nor a development consultant with a handful of designers. We are a team of more than 70 designers, engineers and communication professionals that approach each project holistically.
We always work as a team, both remotely (we have colleagues in New York, San Francisco, Vancouver, etc.) and in person at our main headquarters located in the center of Seville, a 700m2 space where you will feel at home.

A Product Owner with product vision, who is a customer-focused problem solver and has experience as a project manager.
Your day to day would involve some tasks like these:
- Work side by side with clients on the vision of their products and help them make decisions when necessary.
- Maximize customer value delivery by our design and development teams.
- Validate and ensure the quality of the user stories completed by the team.
- Collect the product vision in a Product Backlog. Communicate that vision to the team and give them context about the customer's needs.
- Optimize the delivery time of the milestones agreed with the client as long as quality and technical integrity can be guaranteed.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on strategic goals and customer needs.
- Work with the software development team to define product requirements and user stories.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, contributing and collaborating in their development and preparation. Specifically, this role is responsible for ensuring that there is a plan for that iteration at the end of the sprint planning and that the sprint objective is aligned with the customer's needs.
- Participate in the studio's COPs, coaching less experienced profiles.
- Clarify functional doubts to the team members once the sprint has started in order to maintain the workflow.
- Keep constant contact with the client to collect functional feedback, share progress, and establish milestones.
- Identify dependencies as soon as possible so that they do not become bottlenecks later on.
Besides showing us your previous work, you’ll need:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner in software development companies.
- Knowledge of Scrum.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the development team and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of product management tools, such as Jira.
- High level of English. Most of our clients do not speak Spanish.
Fluent Spanish to enjoy the full Z1 experience.
It’s a great plus if you also know about:
- Experience in companies that have gone through an agile transformation.
- Have worked in startup environments.
- Knowledge in software development and/or UI/UX.
- Experience with Figma.
